Please be advised of the following rules regarding parking during Art Fair!
Parking during Art Fair at West Huron Properties:
For those of you that are new to the property: During Art Fair, as do other businesses in downtown, we have a problem with people trying to park in the lot that are not authorized to park here (hold a permit or are a customer) to attend the Art Fair.
Be aware Brewers will, as they usually do, be patrolling the lot M-F 7am to 5pm and towing people parked in permit parking without permit tags visible.
Although Brewers will not be towing from customer parking West Huron Properties staff will be enforcing the 2 hour time limit in customer parking on Thursday July 20th and Friday July 21st. Brewers may be called if there appears to be a violator.
*** If you have a customer with an appointment that will be lasting longer than the 2 hours it will be your responsibility to notify management of the date, time and length of the appointment and the car description. *** This will only be required Thursday and Friday 7 am to 5 pm.
After 5 pm Thursday and Friday and 8 am to 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday we will have some art fair parking available FOR A FEE.
IF YOU HAVE A PERMIT: You may park your car in the lot to attend the fair without charge any day of the fair.
Customers may park for appointments at no charge , but if after the appointment is completed they want to stay in the lot to attend the fair they will be expected to pay for this time. This is true for Thursday thru Sunday.
Our staff person will be stopping people when necessary and asking their purpose of business in the lot. Please do not be offended by this – the owner has asked that they do this when necessary. We want to ensure that our paying tenants have a place to park and their customers have a place to park while visiting them for appointments.
Each tenant will be responsible for communicating these parking instructions to their sub lets, employees, associates and their customers. West Huron Properties will not be responsible for towed vehicles and or any fees associated with the tow.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns (248)921-6879. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience while we get through this major yearly event.
